Educational Qualification

- Must have passed 10th standard or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board.
- Must hold a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the relevant trade issued by the NCVT or SCVT.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 15 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years
- Age relaxation applies as per Indian Railways rules.
Application Fee
- ₹100 (Non-refundable) to be paid online.
- Exemptions: SC, ST, PwBD, EBC, and women candidates are exempt from paying the fee.
Selection Process
- Merit-Based Shortlisting:
- Merit will be calculated by combining 10th standard marks (minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI marks in the relevant trade.
- Tie-Breaking Rules:
- Older candidates will be prioritized if scores are tied.
- If birth dates match, preference goes to those who passed matriculation earlier.
- Document Verification:
- Candidates will be shortlisted at a ratio of 1.5 times the available vacancies for document verification.
