Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

RRB NTPC City Intimation Slip 2024 Link OUT, NTPC Admit Card Steps to Download

  • Must have passed 10th standard or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board.
  • Must hold a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the relevant trade issued by the NCVT or SCVT.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 15 years
  • Maximum Age: 24 years
  • Age relaxation applies as per Indian Railways rules.

Application Fee

  • ₹100 (Non-refundable) to be paid online.
  • Exemptions: SC, ST, PwBD, EBC, and women candidates are exempt from paying the fee.

  1. Merit-Based Shortlisting:
    • Merit will be calculated by combining 10th standard marks (minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI marks in the relevant trade.
  2. Tie-Breaking Rules:
    • Older candidates will be prioritized if scores are tied.
    • If birth dates match, preference goes to those who passed matriculation earlier.
  3. Document Verification:
    • Candidates will be shortlisted at a ratio of 1.5 times the available vacancies for document verification.
