Candidates who wish to challenge the provisional answer key have until October 14 to do so. Each objection will require a fee of Rs 100. Once all challenges are reviewed, the SSC will release the final answer key along with the exam results.

2. Click on “Click to Raise Objections to Tentative SSC JE Answer key.”

3. Log in using your credentials, select the question number, and indicate the answer you want to challenge.

4. Submit the required proof and pay the necessary fee.

Estimating Scores with the Answer Key

Candidates can use the provisional answer key to estimate their scores. Each correct answer earns one mark, while 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer. Leaving a question unanswered does not add or subtract marks.

SSC JE 2024 Exam Details

The SSC conducted the JE Paper 1 exam from June 5 to 7, 2024, and released the results in August. A total of 11,765 candidates were shortlisted for Civil Engineering and 4,458 for Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

Qualified candidates then moved on to Paper 2, which tests their specific engineering disciplines. Successful candidates can expect a salary range of Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.
